Recycled, Chocolate-Scented Love Notes

I find myself shopping at Uncommon Goods again, as Valentines Day approaches. This catalog and website specializes in recycled products and gifts, with an unbelievable assortment of items.

Just recently I bought a beautiful recycled fiber scarf for a special someone--a scarf that I wouldn't have minded owning myself. Their glassware is amazing also.

A box of chocolates might be enticing for this Valentines holiday, but unwelcome when hubby is trying to eat healthier. In my search to find something meaningful in the spirit of Valentines Day, I came upon this wonderful idea.

Packed into a recycled fiberboard box , these chocolate-scented love notes arrive blank, allowing you to do it yourself. I'm having fun with this, using fond memories and special, hubby-only sorts of notes. Ooo--la-la!

If you have never visited this site, I highly recommend it for any upcoming gift, even kids and pets. It is a delightful place to shop for items that have been re-purposed in some way to live just a little greener, just a little lighter on Earth.
